On the fast lane: motorcycle-vacation in Salzburg

Mountain panorama as far as you can see, green grassland and fantastic curve layout. The streets in the Salzburger land count to the most popular in whole Europe. Whether as a short stop in Bad Gastein or as vacation destination: in the Hotel Mozart your motorcycle-vacation are going to be an unique adventure.

Freedom which one can just have on the bike

The streets in the Salzburger land seem to be made for you and your bike. The streets are curvy, changingly steep and flat but always with a beautiful view on the mountains of Salzburg. A real highlight for biker is the Großglockner high alpine road through the national park Hohe Tauern. With 48 kilometers and 36 gentle hairpin bends this road is made for biker. An impressive view over the high alpine panorama of the Großglockner and his glacier which we call “Pasterze” is a must see. Up to 2500 meters height is high alpine biking like in the books.

With the motor rail relaxed through Austria

From Salzburg to Carinthia without any jam is no problem with the motor rail “Tauernbahn”. It takes you and your car or motor cycle in just 12 minutes through the tunnel. It connects Böckstein with the Mölltal and saves you hour long jam on the highway so it’s an ideal way to spend your day trips in Carinthia even if your hotel is in Salzburg like the Hotel Mozart. So the “Wörthersee” or the famous Minimundus doesn’t seem so far away anymore.

Information about the motor rail Tauernbahn

The Hotel Mozart has always a parking lot for his motorcyclist direct in front of the hotel.
